I like how you zoomed in on that certain part of the original logo. If you would've done it on any other part, I don't think it would've worked as well. Makes it a lot more interesting than the original.
Haha this reminds me of a pun the did about the Starbucks logo how it was going to keep zooming in until it was nothing but a big green circle. But it's really great! I really didn't like the new one they have now but I really like yours.
